How to Apply to Pensacola State College

You are First-Time-in-College (FTIC) if you have never attended a college or university.  Even if you took college classes in high school and then graduated, you are still considered a First-Time-in-College student

1.  Apply for Admission

Complete the Application for Admission. You’ll need your Social Security Number and a personal (non-school) email address.

2.  Apply for Financial Aid & Scholarships

  • Submit your FAFSA (PSC School Code: 001513).
  • Complete the PSC Scholarship Application after receiving your student ID and password.
  • Watch your Workday inbox and PSC email for updates.

3. Submit Transcripts & Test Scores

  • Send official high school/GED and college transcripts.
  • Submit ACT, SAT, or PERT scores—or take placement tests if needed.

4.  Register for Pirate Path New Student Orientation

Register for Pirate Path New Student Orientation to learn about PSC programs and student support services.

5. Meet with Your Advisor & Register

Log into Workday to find your advisor and plan your schedule. Register for classes.

6.  Pay Tuition

Pay online through Workday or at the Cashier’s Office.  Be sure to review the academic calendar for any fee payment deadlines.

7. Get Your Student ID and Parking Decal

Upload a photo in Workday, request your ID online or visit campus with your schedule, photo ID, and vehicle registration.
