You will need to submit a new application if it has been more than one year since you last enrolled in a class at Pensacola State College. Click on the “Apply Now” button to begin your application. You will be required to create a Workday account using a personal email address. If you need assistance, contact Admissions at 850-484-2544 or admissions@pensacolastate.edu.

You will receive an email from the Admissions Office once your application has been processed. You may also log into your Workday account for updates.

After you have been admitted to PSC, you will receive an email from PSCAccountSecruity@pensacolastate.edu. It will contain your log-in credentials and instructions on how to access your account. Once there, you will be able to access your PSC applications, such as Outlook, Workday, Canvas, Microsoft Office, and more. If you have trouble accessing your account, contact the Student Help Desk at 850-471-4534.

Florida Statute 119.071(5)(a) authorizes the collection and usage of your social security number by Pensacola State College (PSC). PSC collects and uses your SSN for state and federal reporting as required by Section 6050S of the Internal Revenue Code. To protect your identity, PSC will secure your SSN from unauthorized access and will not release your SSN to unauthorized parties. PSC assigns each student a unique student identification number which is used for most transactions at the College. Tuition costs vary depending on the type of program being pursued and the residency classification of the student or their parent/legal guardian (if the student is under 24 years of age). A list of tuition costs per credit hour can be found here.

Because of new rules in Florida, not all students are required to submit test scores. To find out if you are exempt, check our exemption guide. Students with previous college work in English and/or math should meet with an advisor to determine testing needs. If you are not exempt and do not have prior college credit in Math/English, you will need test scores on file before you can register for classes. Pensacola State College is an open enrollment college, which means we accept students regardless of their GPA or test scores. In order to seek a degree with us, you must have a standard high school diploma or GED. We may be able to use SAT and ACT scores for placement, if they are less than 2 years old. The Pensacola Campus Testing Center normally accepts walk-ins for the TABE and PERT tests. The walk-in hours are Monday – Wednesday from 8am – 3pm and Thursday – Friday from 8am – 1pm. We recommend that you call ahead at 850-484-1656 as these hours are subject to change. You can also set up an appointment at a testing center on one of our other campuses; contact information is available at this link. There is no charge for the TABE or PERT tests, as long as you have a paid application on file and do not have on file active PERT or TABE scores.

As a general rule, we accept credits from other regionally accredited institutions. In order to find out if your credits will transfer, you need to submit your application, pay the application fee, and request your transcripts from every institution you previously attended. We will evaluate your transcripts and determine if they will transfer to Pensacola State College.

Yes. If you plan to use financial aid to pay for your classes, all prior transcripts must be submitted to PSC first, even if the credit will not count toward your degree.

In Workday, click on Action Items and Holds, then Admissions. The status of High School Completion or equivalent will state Completed. You may also contact the Records Office at 850-484-1600 or Admissions at 850-484-2544 if you have questions.

It normally takes 4-6 weeks for a transcript to be evaluated. You will be able to see the results of the evaluation in the Academics tab in your Workday account. If you have questions about your evaluation, you can contact our Records Office at 850-484-1600.

Yes, your college credits from previous years are still valid in many cases. As soon as we receive your application, application fee, and your transcripts from every institution you’ve previously attended, we will evaluate your transcripts and determine if they will transfer to Pensacola State College.
